A Houston native, Robert Earl Keen has for three decades been regarded as one of Texas's finest true singer-songwriters. “Americana" style was officially recognized by the music industry in 1998, and he was the genre's first artist to be featured on the Americana Music Chart. Over the course of his career he's recorded 18 full-length albums for both independent and major record labels.
