Hula's Island Grill & Tiki Room in New Monterey's Lighthouse District presents Mahalo Mondays. Every Monday, Hula's will donate 10% of total sales for that day (5pm-closing) to a local charity. The charity we will be sponsoring Mondays in February is the Washington Union Educational Foundation.

Since 1984, the Washington Union Educational Foundation (WUEF) has raised funds to support programs that would have otherwise been eliminated in our public school district. As a result of WUEF’s fundraising efforts and continued support of local families and businesses, our district has one of the last curriculum-based art programs in Monterey County and an award winning vocal and instrumental music program and state of the art technology in all three schools.
