The New Monterey Neighborhood Association is invites all Lighthouse District business owners and residents to join a town hall meeting this Wednesday, March 15, 7pm-9pm, at Hilltop Park Center.

There will be a presentation and Q&A with Monterey City staff regarding: State and County mandated housing changes; Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA); zoning for and proposed addition of 3,654 dwelling units in Monterey; and revisions to the City of Monterey’s General Plan, Land Use, Housing, and Safety Elements.

Learn about how these may impact New Monterey residents and businesses and express any concerns to City staff.

The paintings in Mayfield's show are inspired by his hikes in Big Sur below rock faces, in redwood canyons, and on cliffs edging the sea. His work will be featured at the gallery throughout the month of March.

Kids' Bike Drive at Epicenter Cycling

Help local underprivileged children experience the joy of cycling by donating gently used bikes to Epicenter Cycling's Kids' Bike Drive.

Now through December 31, bikes can be dropped off at Epicenter Cycling at 230 Lighthouse Ave. Cash contributions are also appreciated and will go toward the purchase of new Trek bikes for donation.

Please note: we cannot accept donations of department store bicycles as they can't be tuned up.
