We know it's already February, but our 2026 Featured Events guide is finally up with the expected dates and times of almost all of the key events happening in Downtown Campbell this year. Some events like the City of Campbell's Summer Concert Series we can't add until the City's Parks and Recreation department releases the schedule for this year's concerts.

Just about everything else is in there though! Our Car Show will be on Saturday, June 6th this year and we'll have a lot to say about it in the next few months. It's going to be an exciting year in Downtown Campbell. Among other things, a couple of highly anticipated new restaurants are going to open in the space that used to be Opa's and Mo's.

We're also expecting to have a new website sometime this year. Things will be changing and improving in 2026.

Enjoy Paranubes Rum at Pearl Hour

Posted on January 27th, 2026 by Pearl Hour

Both the Mexican Mai Tai and Sade’s Daiquiri at Pearl Hour feature a great spirit: Paranubes Rum. It's a pure and undisturbed representation of raw material, capturing not just the flavor, but a sense of its place of origin.

Pearl Hour, located at 214 Lighthouse Avenue in Monterey, opens at 6pm Wednesday - Monday.

About Paranubes Rum

Paranubes Rum is made by wild fermenting the fresh pressed juice of sugarcane grown without pesticide or fertilizer in the rich soil of master distiller Jose Luis Carrera’s farm.

Distilled to proof with no additives, this rum - or aguardiente de caña as it’s known regionally - is exactly what you would find lost in the cloud forest of the Sierra Mazateca mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico.

Congratulations to local entrepreneurs Steven Kittrell and Bren Walter of 456 Lighthouse which, after a long application process, has finally received approval from the City of Monterey and its Planning Commission to host up to 10 large events a year in their spacious facility.
