Join in the fun of a festive afternoon at Casa Serrano on Saturday, December 7, 3pm-4:30pm, where holiday magic meets the charm of a traditional British tea.

Tickets are $75 per guest, gratuity not included - purchase tickets here. All proceeds will benefit Monterey History and Art Association's historic Casa Serrano Adobe, built in 1843.

About the Event

Rosemary and Thyme High Teas will serve traditional little sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, English biscuits, petit fours, and hot tea prepared in the English style. It's the perfect blend of tradition and delight.

Scottish tablet confections and holiday baskets will be available for sale.

In England, high tea gained immense popularity during Queen Victoria's reign in the 19th century, transforming it into a cherished social event typically served between 4 and 6 PM. It evolved into a fashionable affair featuring delicate finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a variety of delectable pastries presented on tiered stands.
