The Monterey Bay Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, November 8 beginning on Del Monte Avenue in Downtown Monterey. Start time is 7am. Learn more and register to run.

About Monterey Bay Half Marathon

The Monterey Bay Half Marathon is an out-and-back course beginning in historic Downtown Monterey, running along Cannery Row then on to the beautiful Pacific Grove shoreline. See the route map.

The course features scenic views of waves crashing on rocky beaches, beautiful Victorian-era homes, and frequent sightings of aquatic life (whales, dolphins, sea otters, pelicans and more). At the end of the course, celebrate your finish with family and friends at the downtown Custom House Plaza-Monterey State Historic Park.

Road Closures & Parking Restrictions

There will be a number of parking restrictions, 2am-11am, and road closures, 3am-11am, in Downtown Old Monterey and in the New Monterey and Cannery Row areas. Please stay tuned to this page for details as they are released. See half marathon route map.
