Bamboo Reef Fun Dive: Boat Dive in Monterey Bay

Join Bamboo Reef Dive Shop for a boat dive in Monterey Bay aboard the Beachhopper II . Fee is $150. All fun dives are two tank dives. Divers must provide their own equipment (available for rent), c-card, and a sense of adventure. Space is limited so register online to reserve your spot.

Ice Skating by the Bay 2023

Celebrate the holidays at Ice Skating by the Bay's seasonal ice skating rink, open daily November 24 - December 31 . At Custom House Plaza, located behind Portola Hotel & Spa in Old Monterey, skaters can spend the day in a winter wonderland by the Bay.

Admission is $15 for adults, $13 for children 12 & under. Skate rental fee is $5.

Artist Storytelling with Edi Matsumoto at Monterey Museum of Art

Monterey Museum of Art presents a storytelling time with Iluminado exhibition artist Edi Matsumoto on Sunday, December 10, 2pm-3pm. Edi will be assisted by students from Monterey High School, who will act out the story.

Join Edi to hear the story of the traditional Japanese story of the Tanabata, in which the deities and lovers Orihime and Hikoboshi are separated by the Milky Way, only allowed to meet once a year on the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar.
