The Monterey County Film Commission, located in the Lighthouse District, is pleased to announce that Nicholas Fryou, a student at CSUMB, was the winner of the 2013 Monterey County Film Commissionâs Director Emeritus Richard Tyler Film Student Scholarship Award.
Fryou, who is from Aromas, is a senior at CSUMB majoring in Teledramatic Arts and Technology. He'll use the $2,000 award towards the production expenses of a dramatic Western he plans to create for his senior film project.
