Cooper-Molera Adobe hosts a Spring Garden Art Walk for all ages with local scientific illustrator and educator Kristen Burroughs on Sunday, April 19, 1pm-3pm. $5 fee includes a personal watercolor paint kit and canvas. Everyone is welcome! Come paint in our gardens! Please note: limited supplies are available - first-come, first-served.

Proceeds will benefit Cooper-Molera Adobe and Monterey Peninsula Pride.

About Kristin Burroughs

Kristen Burroughs works as a science illustrator and instructor in the Monterey Bay area. She received both her B.S. in Marine Science and her Certificate in Science Illustration from California State University, Monterey Bay.

Kristen’s main goal as an artist is to promote understanding and conservation of wildlife, as she primarily focuses on illustrations of plants and animals. She’s partnered with many organizations, including the Lyceum of Monterey County, the Western Flyer Foundation, Arts Council for Monterey County and Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, where she leads workshops, classes and camps that focus on combining art and nature in the classroom and in the field.
