Join Monterey Public Library staff for a special spooky Halloween Storytime and Parade for children on the lawn of Colton Hall, 10:15am-11:15am. Be sure to wear your favorite costumes.

Current Comics is hosting a Halloween ComicFest on Saturday, October 28, featuring candy and free Halloween-themed comics (11am-7pm), a vintage toy sale (11am-5pm), and a book signing by local horror author Francesca Maria (1pm-4pm).

In honor of Halloween, the City of Monterey presents a free Trunk-or-Treat and Movie in the Park on the lawn of Colton Hall.

The walk-through trunk-or-treat will be held 5pm-6:30pm. Our feature film, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas , will begin at 7pm. Come dressed in costume.

MY Museum invites you and your children ages 3+ to join us on Saturday, September 16, as we partner with Red Engine Rides for a cruise around town. We're offering 15 minute rides in an open-air fire engine for $25 per person. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Rides depart every half hour, 10am-11:30am. Advance reservations required.

So dress up the kids, get in the spirit, and come on down with your family to enjoy a fun and safe time in the community.

All businesses handing out candy will be located on Lighthouse Avenue in New Monterey between Reeside and David and will have a Lighthouse Halloween poster displayed in the window.
