Posted on May 21st, 2025 by cloudcity

In addition to bringing you the best CBD products on the market, Cloud City Supply is committed to helping you create a daily CBD routine designed for your wellness needs. If you’ve ever researched cannabidiol (CBD) and promptly fallen into a rabbit hole of labels, acronyms, and technical jargon, this blog is for you. Today, we’re laying everything you need to know out in Lehman’s terms, from explaining the entourage effect to a suggested step-by-step daily regimen. So sit back, focus up, and get ready to meet the new daily wellness companion that will change your life in all the best ways.

As the best CBD store in Silicon Valley, we answer all kinds of questions about CBD and how to use it to help you deepen your understanding and make more informed decisions regarding your health. One of the most common questions is, “What’s the difference between CBD isolate, broad-spectrum, and full-spectrum CBD?” Allow us to explain.

CBD isolate, broad-spectrum, & full-spectrum CBD: What’s the difference?

CBD isolate

Let’s begin with the simplest form of CBD extracts: CBD isolate. As the name suggests, CBD isolate is 100% pure cannabidiol.

Broad-spectrum CBD

Next, there’s broad-spectrum CBD.

Broad-spectrum CBD can contain any number of cannabis extracts, including cannabinol (CBN), cannabigerol (CBG), cannabichromene (CBC), cannabidivarin (CBDV), terpenes, and flavonoids (otherwise known as vitamin P). However, it’s important to note that broad-spectrum CBD only contains hemp plant compounds that are non-psychoactive. Importantly, broad-spectrum CBD does not include any THC.

What is full-spectrum CBD?

In contrast, full-spectrum CBD includes the extracts included in broad-spectrum CBD, plus trace amounts of THC. Notably, full-spectrum CBD products are classified differently from THC products. Because full-spectrum CBD products only contain less than 0.3% THC, they don’t induce any psychoactive effects (they won’t get you “high”). Still, the 0.3% THC serves a purpose. This trace amount of THC boosts the benefits of the other cannabinoids to produce what’s affectionately known as the entourage effect.

Why we recommend full-spectrum CBD

On its own, CBD is an effective wellness supplement that serves an array of common health concerns related to the mind and body. However, when combined with other cannabis extracts (CBG, CBN, and THC), it gives effervescent...Read More

It was still known as the Prune Festival the first time he went. Whatever you call it, he hasn't missed a single one in decades. Most of you will know this festival as the Campbell Boogie Festival and Dan Henoch has been to every one since the 80's, a streak that will reach 38 consecutive appearances by the time this weekend is done. The festival has changed a lot in the 46 years it's been around and one man has seen most of those changes in person.

Dan's been a Campbell resident since 2004, but has been in the Bay Area since landing in San Rafael when his family moved from Indiana when he was 10 years old. His festival ironman streak started in 1987 when a neighbor of his asked him to go and he just kept returning. After 5 years of not missing the festival, he started to realize he had a streak going, but he didn't really get serious about it until it had reached a decade.

That was when he started documenting his streak. He wrote down the day(s) he went and who he went with along with the location where the festival was held that year. In his notes, you can see the festival location bouncing back and forth between Downtown Campbell, the Pruneyard, and the Community Center. The closest he got to breaking his streak was in 2004 when his mom was sick and he was only able to make an abbreviated appearance on his way to visiting her.

I asked him what his favorite memory of the early years was and he really enjoyed having the festival on the grass at the Campbell Community Center (which was then Campbell High School). He just liked the setting, but his favorite all time memory of the festival was one particular performance by the Johnny Neri Band. It was just so energetic, the crowd was really into it, and everyone was dancing.

When asked to summarize his experience, he said he loves it all... everything from the vendors and the musicians to the volunteers that make it happen. Campbell's just an awesome community and it's reflected in how much fun its festivals are. He's a lifelong diary keeper and he's relished being able to personally witness one little festival that he stumbled into as a young man evolve across decades.

Attached is a photo of Dan. You'll see him this weekend. Say hi and congratulate him on his unusual streak. Also in honor of Dan, I've included a photo of the Johnny Neri Band from a past appearance at Boogie.

How To Stop Chewing Tobacco: Hacks That Heal

Posted on May 7th, 2025 by cloudcity

Spring is in full swing (yay!), and you know what that means: It’s time to check in on those New Year’s resolutions. If you’ve been struggling to kick your tobacco chewing habit, fear not. First and foremost, rest assured, you’re not having an isolated experience. More importantly, practical solutions are at your fingertips. In today’s blog, we’re sharing why so many people struggling with tobacco addiction are turning to cannabidiol as a safe and effective aid in calling it quits for good.

As a budtender at the best CBD store in Silicon Valley put it, “It’s nice to know we are helping people get off of harmful substances and help with an alternative that gives that same oral fixation and has CBD to help calm the nerves/jitters that come from the tobacco/nicotine withdrawals. I love it!”

Cloud City Supply’s star recommendation for chewers looking to quit is Cannadips. These pouches satisfy oral fixation and soothe the nervous system, minus the harmful effects of tobacco and nicotine. These smoke-free, spit-free pouches are a perfect, convenient solution for whenever the urge strikes.

If you’ve tried to quit before to no avail, trust that using Cannadips will be different. The entourage effect you get from CBD mitigates the stress and irritability inevitably sparked by withdrawal when trying to quit. Plus, the flavor-packed pouch design makes for a familiar, and arguably better overall experience. They are, of course, tobacco-free and nicotine-free, and come in two dosage options (10mg per pouch tins and 50mg per pouch tins) to cater to your tolerance level.

Here’s how to use CBD pouches to stop chewing tobacco:

  1. Select a dosage that fits your needs: If you’re new to CBD or only experience mild cravings, start with the 10mg per pouch Cannadips tin. In contrast, if you’re a heavy dipper or experiencing severe withdrawals, go for the 50mg per pouch tin for heightened relief.
  2. Choose your flavor: Pick from one of five coveted flavors– natural mint, american spice, fresh wintergreen, tangy citrus, or tropical mango.
  3. Proceed with your usual chew: Use the Cannadips pouches just like your regular dip (no spitting needed!).
  4. Sit back and let the CBD work its magic: Note the decrease in stress and irritability you feel once you get into a routine with your new Cannadips pouches.

Remember that building healthier habits only happens through repetition. Stick with it to experience the...Read More
