Play Full Ground: Spring Studio Program Info Session
This event has already passed
You’re invited to a Spring Studio Program Information Sessions and Conversations at Play Full Ground, held on two consecutive Saturdays, January 17 & 24, 2pm-3:30pm.
Come meet artist and educator Mai Ryuno, learn about Play Full Ground's new studio programs, and share what you’re looking for in a creative learning space. This is a relaxed, welcoming gathering with time for conversation and questions.
Play Full Ground's New Programs
Play Full Ground microschool is launching new part-time programs on January 26! There will be part-time options for high-school aged students to participate in specific classes, independent study time, or afterschool programs at the studio. These are great for homeschoolers and for students enrolled full-time in public or private school.
Independent Study Time
Our Independent Learning Studio, 9am-12pm, is a shared space where students follow their own questions while knowing support is nearby. Some moments are quiet and self-directed. Others are collaborative and guided. Both matter.
Art and Creativity Classes
These studio- and community-based courses, held 1pm-3pm, Monday - Thursdays, invite experimentation with 2D, 3D, lens-based media, and creative technologies. Students learn through hands-on making, flexible instruction, and collaborative critique, seeing community as part of the creative process.
Afterschool Collaborative Art Studio
Monday - Thursday, 3pm-5pm, Play Full Ground becomes a space for students to take initiative, connect, and collaborate. Inspired by the Speak Not So Easy project, students build community, develop projects, and express their voices in ways that are shared with the broader community through meaningful engagement.
