All are welcome to the Annual Turkish Arts and Culture Festival for a weekend of free family fun, August 29, 11am-7pm, and August 30, 11am-6pm, at Custom House Plaza.

California State Historic Parks and the Monterey State Historic Park Association present a free event for all ages at Stevenson House entitled "Robert Louis Stevenson in the South Seas," 2pm-4pm.

Hear stories of Stevenson’s life in Samoa and discover objects, photographs, and artwork from his life and family. Afterward, mingle in the Stevenson House garden and enjoy light refreshments courtesy of the Robert Louis Stevenson Club of Monterey.
